About LBF Geneva

Our History

Little Big Farm was founded in 2024 by Two friends with one vision : Get back to living off of the land as much as possible. Grow the most nutritious, delicious, and healing foods that thrive naturally in our climate, and share, with family, friends, and those in need.

Although Cathy spent her Childhood on a farm, and Jason had " a garden or two" in his past, neither Cathy or Jason had any experience growing food in Floridas challenging climate. So they started with a 500 square foot backyard, some cuttings, some seeds, and a whole lot of YouTube videos, and now have 5 acres and over 20 varieties of edible plants, trees, herbs and super-foods that thrive in our central Florida climate.

We have  tremendous respect for our land and do not use pesticides or herbicides, other than all natural remedies. We use natural fertilizers such as compost, worm tea, and chop and drop systems.

Little Big Farm is located just outside of the Little Big Econ National Forest, and respectfully shares it's name with gratitude, for the land we have been blessed with.

Our Mission

At LBF Geneva, our mission is to grow nutrient dense , survival crops that thrive

In central Florida, and to provide the Plants, education and experience necessary , for you to have your own garden or even Food Forest!

We are combining our 5 acre Homestead into a  Nursery and bed and breakfast, and in the future will offer honey, pasture raised eggs, jams, jellies Elderberry syrup Etc. We're only getting started!
